Let’s Talk Vegetables: Celery/Celeriac and Epazote
In the first half of the 20th century, celery was on nearly every American menu! Related to parsley, celery has been appreciated since antiquity but, unfortunately, is underrated these days. We’ll explore some of the many ways to eat this delicious vegetable. In addition, we’ll learn about celeriac (also known as celery root) which offers alternative ways to enjoy the taste of celery.
We’ll also continue our exploration of locally available herbs with the Mexican herb – epazote. Epazote may revolutionize your bean dishes – join us to discover why and how!
