ABOUT US

On-site at King Towers in Harlem, PSS King Towers Center is an innovative, multi-service center for older adults that offers more than entertainment. Our programming caters to all our members’ needs from nutritious meals to health management education, physical activity, arts and culture. We offer programs and activities throughout the year, providing opportunities for members to interact with their peers and enrich their lives through new experiences. We are funded by the NYC Department for the Aging.

PSS King Towers Center is located at 50 Lenox Avenue, on the corner of West 112th and 113th Streets. The closest subway station is 110th Street, which is on the #2 or #3 train. The closest buses are the #2, #3 or #4; take it to 110th Street and Lenox Avenue, and walk two blocks north to 112th Street and Lenox Avenue.

Alternate route: take #6 train to 110th Street and Lexington Avenue and walk 5 blocks, or W.116th Street and Lexington Avenue (either walk 5 blocks to Lenox Avenue, or catch the cross-town bus to W.116th Street and Lenox Avenue). Walk 4 blocks south to W. 112th Street and Lenox Avenue.

Membership is required to enter the building. The building is handicapped accessible. Upon entering the center, you need to stop at the front desk, and sign the daily attendance sheet. Guests who are interested in coming again are registered as members. If they are not 60 years of age, they are registered as volunteers.
