THIS EVENT IS NOW VIRTUAL … Staten Island caregivers join PSS Circle of Care and Sunrise of Staten Island for an afternoon filled with valuable information by Dr. Adam Smith, a clinical psychologist that has 25 years of experience in the treatment of dementia. He has directed an Alzheimer’s research center at Richmond Behavioral Associates for 20 years. Dr. Smith will discuss all aspects of managing the behavioral symptoms of Dementia, including psychological, behavioral, and medication options. Attendees will enjoy listening to a mix of jazz, pop and classic hits performed by a guest artist from Concerts in Motion. Body Sculp of New York will close the afternoon with Chair Yoga, a gentle practice in which postures are performed while seated and/or with the aid of a chair. It is also a great form of yoga for beginners or anyone who wants to focus on gentle practice.
