Dr. Michael G. Carvalho is Professor Emeritus and formerly the Assistant Dean of Interprofessional Education Programs and Clinical Affairs at MCPHS University School of Pharmacy in Boston, MA.

Board Certified in Psychopharmacology, Dr. Carvalho treated veterans for 30 years at the Veterans Medical Center in Manchester, NH, and was an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Dartmouth Medical School. He also had teaching appointments at the University of New England, Saint Anselm College, and Northeastern University.

He is the Chief Co-Editor of Applied Therapeutics: The Clinical Use of Drugs, 11th Edition. He is also the Co-Editor of the 12th Edition of this textbook to be published in May 2023.
