Dementia Raw, founded by the Silver Dawn Institute, is a free, interactive communications workshop for families caring for someone with memory loss. It combines the rules of improv comedy and principles of empathy to better understand what it’s like to be the person with dementia. Families will learn to overcome everyday communications challenges.
PSS Circle of Care staff are certified as Dementia Communication Essentials trainers having completed two days of professional education led by members of the Silver Dawn Institute.
We offer both a 90 minute overview class and a six session series for those who want more intensive training.
