Laurie Petersen is the Senior Director of Community Education for PSS. She oversees PSS communications and PSS Life! U, the organization’s education platform offering courses in areas such as health, money, the arts and technology. She also directs Coming of Age, for people age 50+ seeking lives of passion and purpose. Laurie has a diverse background in business, media, education, community and partnership development. She has built products from the ground up for The New York Times, iVillage, Barnes & Noble and CBS, among others. Laurie’s writing has appeared in MarketWatch, AARP LifeReimagined, PBS Next Avenue and HuffPost. Laurie earned her B.A. in Communications, summa cum laude, from Rowan University. She is an alum of the Encore Transitions program at Union Theological Seminary.
