The multicultural PSS Manhattanville Center serves individuals 60 years of age and older by providing educational, health, recreational and social activities as well as health management, case assistance and advocacy. We are operated by PSS and funded by the NYC Department for the Aging. Located on the ground floor of the Manhattanville Community Center in Harlem, we offer our members a welcoming, safe and fun environment that feels like a “Home away from Home”. Our motto: “Youth is a gift of Nature; Age is a work of Art”.

My husband and I have been coming to the PSS Manhattanville Center for over ten years. PSS Manhattanville Center is like my family. I come to the Center every day. For me the Center is like therapy. I’m the group leader for the current events and crocheting classes. I enjoy all the exercise classes and talking to my friends.
I’m the Diva of PSS Manhattanville Center. My favorite activity at the Center is the special events because we always dress up for these and I love to dress up. I also like to celebrate everyone’s birthday, helping to decorate the Center and bringing cakes for my friends. At PSS Manhattanville Center we have fun, we laugh, and like family we may even argue. I don’t have family so PSS Manhattanville Center is my family.
Located between Old Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue, on the ground floor of the Manhattanville Community Center, we are easily accessible by the M4, M5, and M11 bus to 135th Street and the #1 train to 137th Street and walk two blocks south.
Our facility is handicapped accessible. Upon entering the building, stop at the front desk, sign the guest book and tell security you would like to go to the PSS Center.
