Elder Law attorney David Cutner, of Lamson & Cutner, P.C. will give an overview of long-term care planning, and the status of recently-enacted changes to New York’s Community Medicaid program. Some of the changes will take place in November of this year. Other changes have been delayed, but are currently scheduled to become effective early next year.

Mr. Cutner will discuss planning for long-term care and how you can become eligible for Medicaid in New York. Two things are certain: first, the scheduled changes will significantly affect your ability to access the Medicaid program and obtain long-term care benefits. Second, the time to learn about your options, and to start planning, is right now.
