Coming of Age, in conjunction with 305 West End Assisted Living, brings you the latest in its exciting Film Noir: NYC series. Enjoy a feature film in the screening room with light refreshments, including popcorn!
This month’s feature is Sorry, Wrong Number starring Barbara Stanwyck and Burt Lancaster. A telephone glitch causes heiress Leona Stevenson (Stanwyck), who is wheelchair-confined, to overhear a conversation about a plan to kill a woman. She is unable to leave her home and can’t reach her husband (Lancaster). The police are dismissive. Leona struggles to find the truth through a series of phone calls that lead her deeper into the mystery. Her college rival, Sally (Ann Richards) and a scheme to sell pharmaceuticals on the black market may be involved.
The event runs from 4-6 p.m. Light refreshments served, including popcorn!
