Film Noir NYC: Key Largo
Coming of Age, in conjunction with 305 West End Assisted Living, brings you an exciting Film Noir: NYC series. Each month, a new feature will be shown in the auditorium with light refreshments.
The series kicks off with Key Largo starring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall. Humphrey Bogart plays World War II veteran Frank McCloud. He visits Key Largo to comfort his fallen comrade’s widow, Nora (Lauren Bacall), and father, James Temple (Lionel Barrymore), who operate a hotel.
McCloud realizes that mobsters, led by Johnny Rocco (Edward G. Robinson), are staying in the hotel, attempt to take it over, and conflict ensues. The event runs from 4-6 p.m. Free of charge, but registration is required. Seating is limited!
Please RSVP by Friday, March 10!
