Steve Harper is a TV writer, playwright, producer and actor whose writing investigates how we navigate the world when invisible forces make themselves present. A native New Yorker, Steve has lived in Los Angeles since 2010 and is a Co-Executive Producer of Tracker, a new series for CBS scheduled to premiere in 2024. Other TV writing includes: DC’s Stargirl (CW), God Friended Me (CBS), Tell Me Your Secrets (Amazon Prime), American Crime (ABC) and Covert Affairs (USA).
His original web series SEND ME premiered on BET.com and earned a 2016 Emmy Nomination for series lead Tracie Thoms. It’s now on YouTube. As an actor, Steve has appeared on numerous TV shows including Law & Order Special Victims Unit, 90210, All My Children and Homicide. Steve is a graduate of Yale, The A.R.T. Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard and the playwriting program at Juilliard. Since 2008, he has coached writers and artists through his company YourCreativeLife.com.
