PSS has been sponsoring the PSS Davidson Center since 1992. The Center’s goal is to develop and provide a variety of supportive services and programs for all older adults within the community, promoting healthy aging and allowing our members to age in their own homes. We provide two nutritional meals daily and a safe friendly environment reflecting our cultural diversity. We partner with other organizations to advocate for societal change that will result in positive attitudes and actions towards older adults. We receive funding from the NYC Department for the Aging.

Being a member of the PSS Davidson Center is a joy. At age 61 and as a member for two years, I’ve experienced many new things — going on trips, learning about my health, enjoying music, knitting, dance and bingo, and especially the live bands from the SU-CASA program. The breakfast, lunch and snacks are great. I can talk to our Director and staff about life — the good and bad. PSS Davidson Center is part of my life.
The PSS Davidson Center is located at the Union Avenue Consolidation on the corner of East 163rd Street and Union Avenue. The closest subway station is Prospect Avenue on the 2 or the 5 train. Take the BX17 bus to 163 street and Prospect Avenue. Walk one block to Union Avenue.
We are located on the ground floor. The building is handicapped accessible. Upon entering the center, you need to stop at the front desk, and sign the daily attendance sheet.
