What I like about living at PSS Alberta L. Alston House is that we have great security to make us feel at safe at all times, free workshops/ events, in-house laundromat, and a social service coordinator (not all older adult resident buildings have one). We are lucky we don’t have to travel to obtain services. Lastly, I love that we have a back yard with garden boxes to keep us busy.

PSS Alberta L. Alston House is located between Christie Avenue and Lewis Avenue on 99th street. Take the R or M train to Woodhaven Blvd./Queens Mall station, then take the Q38 bus in front of Mama’s Empanadas (right across the street from the mall) towards the Christie Avenue and 99th Street stop. Upon entering the building, you need to stop at the front desk and sign the daily attendance sheet.
