The doors opened officially on May 6 and dozens of friends, colleagues, and partners joined with PSS staff to celebrate the agency’s new midtown Manhattan headquarters space, which is the entire third floor at 147 East 48th Street.
“The 5,000-square-foot space provides us with so many opportunities for staff development, strategic meetings with community partners, and dozens of classes and activities for our Life! University program,” said Executive Director Rimas Jasin.
PSS Board President Josie Lawrence lifted a glass to “new beginnings, meaningful work, and to the lives we care for.”
Generations of PSS leadership were in the room. They included David Taylor, who served as PSS Executive Director for 19 years prior to Rimas Jasin, who celebrates his 16th year with the agency this month.
