PSS Honors 2023
Christina Curry, Commissioner of the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities, has a long history of leadership in public service, ranging from rehabilitation advocacy for the minority deaf; mental health counseling and work with minority disabled to statewide HIV and independent living issues.
GetSetUp is on a mission to help those over 55 to learn new skills, connect with others and unlock new life experiences. Classes, social hours and special events are presented by peers to older adult audiences across the globe.
Ariel Weissberger, founder and primary therapist of Berko Music Therapy; which has been providing life-changing music therapy to elderly, sick or disabled individuals in the five boroughs of NYC since 2015.
