PSS Senior Director of Circle of Care

Make a difference in the lives of New York City’s older adults, their families and the community. For over 50 years PSS has performed vital and important work – through its nine senior centers, two apartment buildings, caregiver services and affiliated programs, the agency touches the lives of over 1,000 people a day. As the Senior Director of PSS Circle of Care, you will be responsible for assuring that family caregivers receive the information and referral, counseling, home assessments, educational training, respite and supplemental services they need. The Senior Director’s role is vital in ensuring that effective supportive service networks are established and services and programming are effectively delivered in communities throughout all five boroughs. This is a full-time exempt position that reports directly to the Deputy Director.

PSS Circle of Care Care Consultant for Alzheimer’s Disease Caregivers

In 2016, PSS began providing its special brand of caregiver services and support to those caring for someone with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias throughout NYC. PSS is looking to fill multiple positions spanning all five boroughs. As a Care Consultant for PSS Circle of Care Caregiver program, you will be responsible for providing individual counseling, home assessments, educational training, respite services, supplemental assistance, information & referral and perform outreach initiatives to existing and prospective caregivers. The Caseworker’s role is vital in ensuring that caregivers and their families receive the information, support and resources they need to cope with the challenges of Alzheimer’s disease.

PSS Caregiver and Kinship Caregiver Services Caseworker

As a Caseworker for PSS Caregiver and Kinship Caregiver Services, you will be responsible for providing individual counseling, educational training, respite services, supplemental assistance, information & referral and perform outreach initiatives to existing and prospective caregivers. The Caseworker’s role is vital in ensuring that caregivers, kinship caregivers, kinship young adults and caregiving youth receive information, support and resources to assist them in coping with the challenges of those involved in the caregiving dynamic. This is a full-time exempt position that reports to the Director of PSS Kinship Caregiver Services.

 

Senior Center Program Coordinator – BRONX

Make a difference in the lives of New York City’s older adults, their families and the community. For over 50 years PSS has performed vital and important work — through its nine centers, two apartment buildings and affiliated programs, the agency touches the lives of over 1,000 people a day. As the Program Coordinator of one of senior centers, you will be responsible for the overall development and coordination of senior center programs, services and activities. The Program Coordinator’s role is vital in ensuring that innovative programming is provided to allow our member to remain active and safe in their communities. This is a full-time non-exempt position that reports directly to the Senior Center Director/Manager.
