Are you caring for a loved one? Are you feeling stressed and overwhelmed? Open and thought-provoking discussions with other caregivers may be just what you need to make your caregiving responsibilities easier and less stressful.
Our support groups are welcoming environments where caregivers share their experiences, the joys and the struggles that come from caring for a loved one. Led by experienced Circle of Care facilitators, our support groups are opportunities to learn what people like you have done to meet their challenges and to gain the tools and education that enable continued healthy caregiving.
If you think that a support group might be just what you need to help you be a better caregiver and to take better care of yourself, you are invited to join a PSS Circle of Care Support Group at a conveniently located Caregiving Station. If you would like more information, please contact us at 718-585-1640. Click here to find the most recent Support Groups.
If attending a caregiver support group in person is unrealistic because of time, access or mobility issues, make sure to ask about our Caregivers TeleChat, a caregivers support group conducted via telephone.
